RUNESCAPE - What level were you? What items did you have?
If you think you are grinding in Destiny, you should have seen how it was in Runescape lol. MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF XP PER SKILL.
Would you play Runescape if it came to Xbox/Playstation lol? And had REAL graphics. The #1 player was Zezima in RS2 for a while.
I played Runescape 2 in like 2006, 8th grade with all of my friends. You had to watch out for trading scammers lmao.
I was mainly a ranger/wizard hybrid at level 88, and loved it. I even had a Robin Hood hat which was like a few million GP.
I remember being a Lumbridge noob, and then questing throughout the lands for items.
I remember Castle Wars, and the various armors/weapons, from picking either Zamarok, Saradomin, or Guthix.
SO MANY WAYS TO MAKE $. I mostly mined or crafted. Pvp in the wilderness was pretty fun haha until clans destroyed you.
AND THE DROP PARTIES. POPPING BALLOONS AND GETTING BIG ITEMS. Wave2: Buying rune scimmy, 100K.
So, if you did play it, what did you have? When did you play? What level were you? (i.e. combat, + your skills)
DAMN, MOST OF YOU WERE LEVEL 100+ with 50+M. I only had like 8m lmao :(
I MISS THE QUESTS. SO MANY. AND PVP WAS FUN IN THAT.

I played back in like 2002/05. Stopped playing at overall level of 109. Then I gave my account away to a friend who was starting.

1 ReplyOn and off since 04 ended up a level 109. Had 60mil which was a lot when I quit, got hacked rather. Loved the game so much. Love the grind of this one brings me back home lol

2 RepliesCan't remember combat but think it was around the 118 mark and quit just before EOC as it went to shit , tried it the other day and was wondering wtf have they done to the game :( think my main had 14 level 99s, can still remember that stupid ass 13m xp gap for 98-99 or something stupid like that

Played it and loved it, the new eoc turned me off but they have made great improvements lately for the old school guys on eoc. I love destiny to much to quit for rs tho

2 RepliesDon't remember my combat level but I know I had like 75-80 in all of them (including magic and ranged) and I had a 90+ in attack. Still, my proudest achievement was getting 99 WC. Becoming lumberjack extreme. I got that before they made it easy too. Never had much money or gear. Cut magic logs in that elf town for money. Oh!!! And I killed that big monster in the volcano! Jad was his name I think. Fire cape son!

2 RepliesLvl 136 master at GWD Soloed all but the nex! Made about 800m of of it and other loot drops, nearly tripled it inside two weeks at the arena before losing EVERYTHING! Bout the same time they made the evolution of combat which I hate so I quit the game. 278 days in game time!

I hit level 120 in around 2006. Was a slow grind. But, I met some great friends who I still talk to today.

I believe i got to around 90 back what now is considered 07 runescape. I remember i had a mix of those god armors that break slowly, and a whip. Im glad i stopped in 8th grade.

Level 108 with the summoning, no 99 skills but very balanced all around I could handle recipe for disaster, monkey madness was easy, but the ancient magic quest, I couldn't run that one, never got around to PVP in the wilderness, removed it before I went and started, and Grand Exchange stopped me from making money. I used to patrol karamja for people fighting the tzar-kets under the volcano, I got so much loot from the arrogance of people, had several whips and cannon parts. Better drop rates than bosses.

I haven't played since I was in 6th and 7th grade around 2005, great memories playing with everyone at school. Taking kids we didn't like into the wilderness and destroying them haha the quests were so fun

Lv 64 almost purely a merchant on the free servers. Coal and swordfish was great to trade to members for law runes and rune gear and marking up the price. Grand exchange murdered my business and made me retire.

EOC made the game worse, but made taking out those nuisance enemies easier. Only wish it came for Elvarg (or however you spell it) from the Dragon Slayer quest, when you were scared to lose everything... Monkey madness is still a scary quest IMO, lol lv 140 something and still not done... What I miss the most: the old fashioned drop parties. A person running around dropping stuff and watching the crowds mob that one item. Definitely waiting for console release, be it same or better graphics.

I was level 132 if if I can remember right and I was pretty rich I had around 200+mil from farming godward and dragon claws lol used to love that game

4 RepliesLvl 3 skiller "xlu". 9 or 10 99's idk. 1700 total lvl? 87 slayer or some shit. Its been a long long time. I quit because of the lvl calculation change. Made me one level higher than the lowest.

1 ReplyMaxed out. Had mostly all 99s missing 4-5 skills. Stopped playing when I got hacked. Played when Zezima and Nova Lyfe were going head to head on leader boards.
