Kind of related, possibly the worst ending to a game for me was Assassin's Creed Revelations (and I loved the rest of the game and the other Ezio ones). Although I was felt seriously ill from a medical injection when I played that, I was as weak as the limping character walking through the temple at the end of the game lol.
