TRIBUTE TO RANDALL THE VANDAL
In my opinion randall the vandal is presently the one and only legend in destiny... Who is the speaker? Who is atheon? Who is crota? Who is the traveler?
...since he was nerfed he reached legendary status... I'd love him to be the predator he was hiding in a lvl 8 sheep.
He could decapitate aksor... He could annihilate valus tau'uc... Im convinced he would even kill crota and atheon... Without cheesing them and soloing ;)

The first time we seen him me and 2 others were just cruising around farming. All of a sudden I hear over the mike " what the hell" OH SHIT OH SHIT!!!! Guys come get this guy off me!!!!! We hear guardian down then we come book it over and it takes all 3 of us to drop him. About 10 minutes. We would've been about lvl 15. One of the funniest things I seen was a hunter full on sprinting away from him lol

I swear the first i took him on and he killed me the little bastard TBagged me. When i got my Ghorn i made a point of stopping by to say hello lol! I have wondered if someone at Bungie was controlling him realtime. Also i swear we tried running crota the day it dropped. I was down and waiting to revived bout half way to bridge. Out of no where i get revived turn around and there is hunter running away from me! There we two hunters in the raid me and another and he was up close to the bridge!

I wouldn't say I killed him... Given that a warlock stole my killed after a 30 minute battle when I first started playing the game .... So I would say , if you want a good mini boss battle go find him

1 ReplyI found a hydra on venus that was a bullet sponge 6 rockets heaps on primarie shots and ib shots only to get half of his health down! I was a level 32 and got pumped lol while defending a warsat solo

I met him when I was a lonely level 4. These were good times for me. i thought I was hot stuff. He wiped the floor with me. I saw his level.....8.... hhrm..... I need to level up. So I did. I worked my tail off and LATER THAT DAY.... I met him again as a level 9. He wiped the floor with me. I came back as a level 9 later that day with a FULL COMPLIMENT of rockets, fusion ammo, and the biggest hand cannon I had. I brought a 2 friends with me. And we engaged in battle. After 15 minutes....... I wiped the floor with him. So became the epic battles with Randle. I used to go back before they patched him and face off Man to Man. ( I would drop all my gear to make me a 20). The battles were epic. I came out on top........ most of the time.... but they are by far the best one on one battles I have experienced in this game.

My first time encountering him I was a low level Titan, under level 10 but I forget exactly. In the beginning I thought punching everything was boss so I went around punching everyone in the boats, then the captain up by the radio, and I seen a glimpse of red on the radar. I jumped down and seen the skank and a yellow vandle. I punched the skank, one hit it was dead, turned to the vandle thinking okay, maybe it will take three or so to kill him. I landed a couple, dodging his, and noticed his health didn't go down at all. I stood still for a second, thinking what the hell is going on. He then looked at me and one hit I was dead. Wtf, what just happened. No f you, your dead. I went back and fired everything I had at him and he still didn't die. I Invited some friends into my party and we all could not take him down. We retreated and said Fck it, we will come back when we're stronger. Through out the rest of the story, the only thing that I was interested in was going back and killing him. Finally we all hit 20 and went back and took him down. It was more fulfilling than beating the story, lol. I miss the good ole days where you had no idea what you were doing and was just in awe of the beauty of this game. I envy the Xmas noobs for this but also feel sorry for them not to experience what we have since day 1.

First time i saw him was in the beta, i was lvl 8 (the cap for the beta) and decided to melee him and his lil shank whore... he hit me so hard i got reset back to lvl 1! saw him last week in the distance... i icebreakered his ass... sweet revenge...

1 ReplyBack in my day, we set level 5s on randal for sport, we bet on how long the noob would last. I won 3 afk strikes from randal, got a blue engram from it an' all (turned into a green mind you!). I remember once he was taken down by a noob, best there ever was, peak of physical condition. He was a sunsinger, lured him onto the nearby cliff and pushed him off, costing many a player his time. Though many went to the forums crying for a patch; I merely watched, and waited to see where this god among men would tread next. They say that this art was passed down through the sunsingers, an art that the gods saw as infit for use by mere mortals. And as bungie gives, bungie shall take away, the art was evicted from the cosmos. Though tales still tell of the day a new sunsinger shall rise, and rip the black art of cliff-tossing back into existence.

'Twas in the beta, a long long time ago in a galaxy not very far away that I encountered "Randell" I was lv8 with maxed out everything for that lv and came across a vandal and thought "easy prey" get a couple of headshots but doesn't die? Golden gun. Still isn't dead, everything in my arsenal and still only half way down, took 30 minutes but I killed him. It was an honour

I Drive by the ship and stair down @ the randall imposter, missing the real Randall;whom could waste a fireteam on his own.... the Randall imposter isnt worth wasting the bullets to kill most of the time..... Besides Randall was the most notable part of the forgotten shore, now its just a cave with a dewshy randall look alike

Okay first time I encountered him I was trying to finish a fallen leaders bounty and I went over to him (lvl 29 back then) and was like phht level 8 I got this. But then I realized that this vandel was no -blam!-ing level 8. This guy bent me over the rock and -blam!-ed me as that shank watched. I ended up killing him 20 min later with the chance

The first time I ran up against him I thought to myself that this would be an easy kill, little did I know that my hunter would have to run away. Now I crush him but every so often, the original Randal appears and work my guardian over.

I first met him during the beta. I saw him hanging with a shank and thought "a vandal and a shank? no problem!" Well I couldn't be more wrong. What should have been a short, decisive victory turned into a fifteen minute shootout between me and randal. But alas, he was no match for my glorious hunterness and he was slain my scout rifle.
