Technically the Warlock does [b][i]if[/i][/b] they are wearing the Helm of Dire Ahamkara. Probably not enough to survive a GG, but it does increase their toughness when using Nova Bomb.

Well thw time takes to throw nova bomb isn't exactly same as having a shield... And as far as I know all characters have extra toughness when they are using super but ofcourse degree of the thoughness depends on your current stats and your character such as titans' toughness higher than other classes

Golden Gun doesn't appear to offer any damage survivability. As in, shotgun from usual range, 2x Thorn etc all kill as usual.

The Skull of Dire Ahamkara gives Warlocks a buff to their defense when they're using a Nova Bomb. I'm not sure how effective it is though.
