He will never sell icebreaker or gjallahorn again. Every guardian with one would break the game.

I have played this game off and on since day 1. I didnt get gall but have had icebreaker since the start. It blows my mind ppl get mad when xur sells items. So damn childish. To me I like when everyone in my party has good weapons. Means quicker clear times. If you think gettin a weapon with rng is any different then buying with coins you are a fool.

I don't want him selling SUROS though, not that good in PvE and I get tired of seeing it in the rare times I actually go into Crucible

Eh? Makes no sense. Let's say RNG chance of icebreaker is 1 in 1000 - that means 1 in 1000 people get an icebreaker...100,000 people play and only 100 people get one. If 1000 people buy an icebreaker from Zur with coins, 1000 people have 1. 100,000 people will then have 100,000. I know which chance I'd rather have lol

Even if the chance were 1 in 1000, is still quite possible for all 100,000 of those people to have one

It's not about probability. If it's random how is it earning. I have beat every raid and logged days into multiple characters so you are saying some guy who sucks at pvp deserved or earned his exotic more so than me? Im not complaining. I just don't think someone who got a weapon from rng "earned" there weapon more so than buying it with coins.

Thats what everyone said last time Xûr sold the IceBreaker. It didnt break the game then, and it sure as shit won't now.

But at that time it was what, week three or four? Game has moved forward since then. The gjallahorn and icebreaker are two of, if not THE two most valued and sought after weapons in the game. Only have to look at the forums to see that every time someone puts up a "Zur please sell...." Post, several thousand people will ask for the two above! It's Bungies way of ensuring that people still play the game. If there's hope that Zur and RNGesus won't be total arsebiscuits and sell one or drop one in this weeks nightfall, it's a way of dangling that carrot and keeping people coming back.

People were still lusting after the Ice Breaker (But, not the Gjallahorn) at week 3, though. The amount of screaming in this forum was absurd. Every few posts was "XUR DONT SELL ICEBREAKER OR IT WILL RUIN THE GAME!!".

It was quite funny when I got my Ice Breaker from a Legendary Engram, didn't know how good it was until I used it in Weeklys and Nightfalls, now I'm hoping Xur sells it again so my friends can get it

Thats some good luck, there. I had to buy my Ice Breaker in week 3. Now, it sits in my vault. I am too fond of the Found Verdict and the SwordBreaker to want to switch it out.

I want Swordbreaker....but all I got this week when I beat Crota was 2 Radiant Energies, a friend got Black Hammer, another got Song of Ir Yut, and another got Light of the Abyss
