HOW IT HAPPENED-Derp, the Hunter, was a low level. A really low level. Herp, the Titan, is a high level, with great armor. They are in Iron Banner, so they're not leveled out. When Herp goes for FoH, he's wearing an exotic that increases his defense while havoking. He also, has the skill tree point that increases his defense while havoking. And, to top it off, he just melee'd a guy, which gave him a shield. So, do to minor lag and major defenses on Herp's side, and low attack on Derp's side, Herp was not killed. Anyways, Derp forgot the golden (gun) rule: Double Tap.
[EDIT] Well golly gee I don't use Strikers I didn't know they don't have a shield

He's just a Titan with maximum armor skills and the Unstoppable perk. The combination allows you to survive one golden bullet while using fist of havoc. I plan my titan's super around survival.
-
He was the MVP of his team using the first gun in the game and with a low level character, he also got no medallions. Definitely regular Crucible. Titans are very durable while using Fist of Havoc, even with Heavy Ammo is hard to kill them while using it. You *might* kill them with your own super, but even then it's not guaranteed. If they have the unstoppable perk, your chances of killing them is even lower.

Striker doesnt get a shield on melee kill ability.
-
Titans don't get shields for meleeing on the striker class. That's defender, the striker melee just does arc damage, but other than that good analysis
-
Sounds like you had to do quite the analysis here, Herp

Golden gun is a one shot under most circumstances, he could use juggernaut or super.
-
He did not get a should when he melee'd because he is a striker..
-
Well I don't use Striker I'm sorry
