OK - so I like DestinyLFG and have used it before. But things scroll by quickly on that site and sometimes you just wanna jump in to something or start something quickly. Now, sometimes while walking around the Tower I still get invites to Raid or Crucible, and I was thinking that we can use the real estate of the Tower and a character's actions to indicate that you are looking to join a Fireteam for Raiding or Crucible or start one, or just wanna be left alone.
Now, this is not novel, and I dunno if this idea has been floated before, but here goes...
When you first spawn into the Tower, you appear in the middle near the edge. From there:
o If you want to do the VoG Raid, walk to the right (toward the shipwright's side) and gather near the edge/stairs (do not go up any stairs)
o If you want to do the CE Raid, walk to the left (toward Eris side) and gather near that edge (do not go up any stairs)
o If you want to do Crucible or Iron Banner, go up to the area where the entrance to the Iron Banner dude was/is (it is closed at the time of this writing) and gather there
People looking to join a Fireteam will sit down. People that are Fireteam leaders will dance. This body language should clearly indicate what you are doing there. People just standing there should be ignored because they are just, well... standing there.
This way, you know what players are looking for based on where players are and what they are doing. Keeping the spawn/center area clear keeps people briefly AFC from getting spammed with invites or messages.
Well - good idea or not?

Love it. Hard to find anyone for crucible, this would make things easier
