Secret Grottos Cave
Ok, so I was in the Grottos, and after I defeated the Shrieker, Knights, and Acolytes, I went into the Hive Seeder. It connected to an underground cave. I explored a bit of it, but then came upon something weird. In cave, there were 2 wizards, many Acolytes, and MANY MANY Thralls. I killed them for the fun of it, but quit exploring. Has anyone else seen this?

/sigh You stumbled upon, and ruined, the weekly Hive poker night held after Tuesday resets (they can only play 3 hands per week). Way to go.

This is just like that post about finding a "secret cave" in skywatch.

I used to use that during the queens bounty to get to the area where the walker was. I found it faster to go through there then from the starting patrol area.

Connects to the Refinery if you keep going. Fist of Crota mission in reverse.

1 ReplyNot an #Easteregg.. Maybe back in the beta when every was a ??.. A DLC story mission actually takes you down there, it's like a lvl 26+ mission I think..

2 RepliesI found it back during the beta. It was fun back then running through it as lvl 8 and making it all the way through to the other side surviving the ?? enemies.

Yes, it's not really a secret. There's a DLC mission in there.
