Slow ass rate of fire, only 3 round magazine, and all 3 have to be precision dmg, all done "rapidly". Gun does not need a nerf at all. Hell, if you're getting hit by anything, the damn thing misses every shot even when you fire once the scope has stabilized back center. I'll be honest, besides for boss fights, gun us garbage... I'd rather use praedyths or icebreaker....

How can you say this gun is garbage? The firerate is fine, and I don't even land my crits anywhere near rapidly and it reloads automatically?

It's garbage for anything besides boss fights. Rate of fire is so slow enemies move or shield before your 2nd or 3rd shot will even go off. It shouldn't take me 3 trigger pulls to fire 1 shot... it's barely faster than NLB. Bungie doesn't really define their definition of "rapidly", but from my experience with the Black Hammer, it's just about as fast as the gun can fire. A second or two longer between shots and I get no reloads.

And your statement about shields going out on the second or third shot is complete false? Maybe if you miss 2 shots you have to reload but it's not that slow

When I did the nightfall this morning, the Knights would throw their shields up generally after every 2nd shot. Also factor in that they had arc shields so my first shots were not doing real damage and we're not causing any stumble that prevents shielding. And, I don't miss, often.

They were doing real damage cause even with there arc shields it's a solar burn so it basically evens out. And I've never had that problem and neither have any of my friends so idk what your talking about.

Go do the nightfall and try to put 3 rounds in an ultra knight and tell me he doesn't shield after the 2nd shot every time. Shields after 1st shot if you're going real slow. What I meant is that when their arc shield is full, the 1st round doesn't penetration to their actual health so it does not cause them to stumble. Knights don't shield when they stumble. Try shooting a knight with say, vision of confluence, said knight should throw up a shield before death. Now, try headshotting a knight with a sniper rifle. Knight will stumble until dead basically, no shield.

I will try but I've used the Black hammer since day one of DLC release and maxed it out after a day. I've never had that problem.

Lol. You make me laugh. Obviously you can't aim cause if you could this would be a GOD weapon. The fire rate it perfectly fine. It's WAY faster than the NLB shot so don't go that far. This gun is simply awesome.
