Badger CCL - Best Scout Rifle
Got it from Legendary engram, perks are "precision kills drastically increase reload speed" and "ADS increases effective Range". This thing has wonderfully balanced stats and reloads SO quickly. I haven't maxed it yet, but does anyone else have any personal experience or input with this rifle?

Shoots too slow it'll get you killed more than kills. Another NITC IS the best scout hands down even better than the Mida and doesn't take up a exotic spot.

i've broken down 2 of them. fire rate is too slow to be very useful. another NITC, for me is far better. even better still is VoC or Mida.

I have the stock model almost fully upgraded. Solid weapon. Not a favor but it gets the damage done. The range on it is beastly. No need for a sniper with this fellow along

1 ReplyI bought Another NITC instead because the Badger seemed like it had such a low fire rate. How do you find it? I've never actually used it.

I got one as a nightfall reward..... I wasn't impressed it is extremely slow at everything. Aiming, reloading, fire rate, it even felt slower to move. But with your perks maybe you dont notice as much.

Maxed badger will deal 1222 to any red same level enemy the random bullet will do 1622.

I have it along with 2 other LG end art scout rifles and it is by far my favorite. Exploding rounds decent mag and hits hard. Very effective for taking down shields. Overall one of my favorite weapons I own.

I have 2 but like the second one I got from a package best. It has red dot and sharpshooter sights, high caliber and explosive rounds to choose from. Luck in the chainber and grenader perks. It replaced the Proxima I used for so long and is way better than the Multi-Tool-it's MY multi-tool!

Another NITC from the Vanguard Quartermaster has the same perks plus more ammo;) It's better than the Badger IMO.

I'm running one right now with Final Round, Custom Optics, and Rangefinder. I switch between Custom Optics and Hammer Forged. I enjoy it quite a lot. My wife couldn't decide between NiTC and Badger, she wound up buying badger and enjoys it. It's a lot slower than NiTC, but that impact is pretty sweet!

Anything you get from a drop (raid weapons/exotics not included) has random perks.

I have badger and b line trauma with firefly. B line is way better imo.

I love it. The precision kills increase reload along with chain of woe on my Hunter make it almost instantly reload

I have stock badger and NiTC with radar. I swap off, like them both.

1 ReplyI prefer The Calling. Got it a few weeks ago from the Nightfall. It's a great scout rifle and has replaced my VOC. It has the Firefly perk and explosive rounds. It's a head shot machine and easily kills 2 or 3 lower level enemies with one head shot.
