Hi All, I have an idea and a very simple solution to an issue I feel is affecting a huge number of Destiny's users relating to purple engrams and raid drops. A lot of destiny's users are getting annoyed and upset about getting energy or shards when they want items(weapons or armour). Now last time I checked items break down in to energy or shards? So why not change this so you only get items (weapon or armour depending on the engram) from engrams and from the final checkpoints in the raids (when you kill Crota or atheon) you only get items - anything else from the loot table (insert excitement) . If people want shards energy let them break down these items to get them but this at least gives a slightly higher chance of receiving something useful and I feel will please a lot of gamers. Leave chests as a way to still gain further energy and shards especially in Crotas end. So in terms of rewards you might actual get something like everyone else on your fireteam when doing raids rather than the shards or energy you did not want or need. if you get something you already have? at least you can break it down for the shards you still probably didn't want or need :). Guardians out there if you agree help me get this to somewhere bungie might actually read it. vote on the poll so they can see its something the community want. If you disagree give a reason? what don't you agree with how could this be better? Edit/Update (im happy to answer questions or take further ideas) :) Related to a question from someone I don't believe it should become easy to gain raid Armour. I don't believe that completing a raid should result in you always gaining Armour I just think you should gain an item rather than energy/shards for completing a difficult task that can only be done once a week not an item you can get from the first chest/ all chests in a raid/ any daily event. #feedback #bungie Thanks for now.
