So, I've seen a ton of threads on this forum that are raining hate on the No Land Beyond.
I've got to say, I disagree with them all. No Land Beyond is a fantastic gun that really does require a shift in playstyle.
So, a couple of points of contention or agreement.
1) The Ammo Cap:
I will agree that this is something of a hindrance to the NLB. I can honestly say that I would appreciate a boost to the maximum ammo carried, though it's still not too big of an issue, since, y'know, the thing gets ammo from Primary drops.
2) The Sights:
Again, not going to argue that the sights aren't everyone's cup of tea. However, they add a really, truly exotic feel to the gun itself. My one tweak to these would be the addition of some illuminated markers on the front post and the sides of the rear ring. Explainable in-lore as fiber optics or whatever.
3) The Rate of Fire:
This one I'm gonna say is total crap. There's nothing wrong with the fire rate of NLB... IF you take the time to upgrade it. It may be my imagination, but it feels like each time I upgrade it, it recocks a little faster. At this point (Just added the Master perk to it), it feels more in line with a CoD bolt action sniper.
4) The Perks.
Okay, these need some work. I mean, honestly. Mulligan? On this gun? Not a good match. Replace that with something more like Return to Sender or something. And The Master perk could use a small buff. Maybe make it ignore the Damage Resistance on Ultras or something, reflecting the gun's role as an Anti-Tank gun.
Okay, that's all.
TL:DR- No Land Beyond is a remarkable gun, which, with a few tweaks, could really become fantastic.
