I'm just looking because I hear a very big back and forth on this topic.
The answers you give should be regardless of what level strike it is, even though I know that's not always true.
Coming from my view having not seen any results yet, I personally like to skip the unnecessary sections in the raid. Yes, I know I'm missing out on glimmer, and possibly some engrams. Yes, I know not everyone agrees with my methods. But, playing through the whole strike (regardless of which one) isn't usually worth it in my opinion. Even with grimoire bonuses getting non-major/ultra kills only nets ~15 glimmer. Also, major/ultras only net ~30 glimmer with the grimoire bonus.
Additionally, while sometimes there are drops, I still manage to get around 1-2 blue engrams per run (regardless of the strike). So, while I might not be getting as much, I'm still getting a decent amount and the extra few minutes of gameplay I'm skipping I can use toward whatever I want.
If I ever really need glimmer or engrams I farm for them. Glimmer on Mars (Exclusion Zone), and engrams through roc/tiger strikes. If I really wanted those things the minutes I save in the strikes by skipping sections can be more usefully applied to farming, and not just strikes.
Anyway, that's my two cents. I'm interested in how the poll will turn out.

None of the above.

Times is something you'll never get back in this life. Scrubbies are the ones who think killing every add is actually "worth" the time
-
I go like wading through anything that is actually strike. Now enemies that ere just part of the map are a different story, so I just glide right over them.

run through shxt. i dont want to spend 20 mins in a strike when it can be done in 10. the rewards n xp are in the end. killing a lvl 10 dreg wnt help
-
When I had the bad juju bounty I skipped to the boss of the nexus since I could complete it in 8 min (also it was annoying)
-
I go through and kill basically everything but I do it quick most strikes take 15 mins at the longest besides omnigul and that stupid Mars strike that takes an hour.
-
If you aren't new and have seen the strike before there is no reason to be there but get rewards as quick as you can ... Or in other words skipping/cheesing/doing whatever gets you rewards the quickest.
-
Well it surely not because it saves time.In 2000+ strikes i've never EVER!! seen a runner finish before i got there after killing everything.I just fallow the majority if they both run i will too, if there's just one pfft your on your own see ya at the boss with my pocket fuller ,and couple more engrams, ect, ect.

I skip the parts of the strikes that aren't actually part of the strike (any enemies that don't scale to the level of the raid). The level 8/9 enemies at the start of Devils Lair, the enemies at the start of Nexus, the stat of Winters Run, the start of Cerberus Vae, the part after the tank in Cerberus Vae, and the middle in the Skywatch in the Will of Crota.

If I need heavy ammo I'll stay behind and kill enemies
-
How about an "I just do what the other players do" option. If they kill everything along the way I'm down. If they skip sections to make it through faster I'm OK with that too.

Save time has really no point... we play video games to enjoy/spend time right? I do at least

I've gotten quite a few legendary engram drops from low level enemies during ROC strikes and I average somewhere around 4 or 5 rare engrams per strike, NOT including those awarded at the end. The drop rate in ROC is higher than it is in patrols, so why waste time farming for engrams in areas with a reduced drop rate and then skip past all of the opportunities in a ROC strike just for the two engrams at the end? If you spend 15 minutes on a strike, killing everything you see, and you get 6 engrams, that's 2 engrams per 5 minute period. If you skip everything and finish in 10 minutes, that's 1 engram per 5 minute period. Either way you decide to play is fine with me, I just hate it when people get angry with me for not skipping. I've had people actually refuse to revive me while battling bosses just because I didn't skip everything.

Ain't nobody got time fow dat

If I have a bounty for a mid strike ultra kill your damn right in running. Only have so much time to play when working
-
any idiot that uses Strikes to farm glimmer is exactly as stated, an idiot, especially when their tried and trued methods to go from 0-25k glimmer in 45-60mins
-
I do all the above. Depends on my mood. Some days certain parts of the grind irritate me. So I run. Other days, I don't care and like mopping the floor with ads
-
Time consuming garbage with no reward, oh wait sorry that's just what the whole game is.
-
I skip the annoying parts if I can. I'm fine with missing a blue engram here and there. Legendary engrams don't drop enough to even enter into my thoughts on the skipped sections.
