Here's my opinion, since you all asked. Call it a cheat if you want, but it is definitely a glitch. Why? Because I guarantee you the first team this happened to found it by accident when their fireteam leader got jackrabbited or vipered into space. If it can happen involuntarily, then it is a glitch. Everyone is exploiting that glitch. Maybe this one is more serious than pushing aetheon off the ledge, but the outcome is the same. Bungie makes a "boss" with silly vulnerabilities and does not thoroughly test their product. Sorry, but this is 100% on bungie. That being said, I've never glitched him since my ft is pretty solid. He is not difficult as is. But I don't hate on the cheesers.
