Dark souls wasn't hard for me, got use to the controls after a few hours, but at one part of the game when you are on your way to fight seath the scaleless there is a invisible walk way you have to cross, now that mother -blam!-er was hard.

Jungle Strike for SNES Get past the first level without codes, and you officially have earned respect. Get past the second level: you have mad skills! No one gets past the third level...and there are 5 levels.

Back on the original Xbox i played Odd-world stranger's wrath and if you go for all alive captures it's near impossible. Abe and munch was also a good game in the series with hard puzzles, so it's a tie between those two and contra with no code

Renegade on the Spectrum. Took me months to get past level 4 and then the tape wouldn't load level 5. Got it on an emulator on the PC a few years back but couldn't get past level 2. That game haunts me to this day.
