Hey guys so I have some news.. It's a little gross so if you get grossed out by the body and blood, don't click the spoiler. It's pretty gross. I don't know the science terms for these words so sorry if it gets to much. Brace yourself...
death. It's something everyone fears. Even the "fearless". Today I found out I might die. I haven't told anyone yet. So starting yesterday, when I go #2 in the bathroom, there has been a lot of blood mixed with diarrhea. I got pretty concerned so I googled it. What I found was depressing. There were many different things that this could be (blood in my stool). Most of what it said was that it could be a range from stomach cuts to cuts in your digestive system to just a little cut near your butt hole. The one that got me very nervous was one that said there could be a cut internally in your digestive system that could turn into cancer... I could have cancer.. As soon as I read this I immediately started balling my eyes out. If I have cancer, I would be devastated. I don't want my family and friends to have to go through that! I don't know what I would do. I decided I would wait to see what happens by Wednesday. If it is a little cut, it should heal by then. The worst part about this whole thing is that I'm only 13!! I have my whole life ahead of me! I want to go to high school and college and have a good job and have a loving wife and kids and a nice house! But I would never get to do that at my age.. Please oh please keep me in your prayers and think happy thoughts for me. I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much for reading this. <3
Tl;dr- can't shorten it. Man up and read it.
Edit- thanks for all the support! I guess I was over exaggerating a little haha

I think you and I share the same paranoia. Last year I discovered a few new moles on my faces so I started freaking out thinking it could be melanoma (cancerous moles). I then observed over the next few months they grew and changed shape a little (these are what cancerous moles do). Got to a point I was inspecting my whole body for moles that looked irregular and then went to a doctor. The doctor said the moles are fine and I shouldnt worry. Its ok to assume the worst as I did but dont freak out too much since it could very well be a harmless situation. Blood in your stool is a common thing I have even experienced it from time to time. Dont worry too much about it but if you are concerned just go to your doctor and see what he says,

Trusting the internet is not a smart thing to do, it is probably nothing, go get a doctor.
-
dude, get a doctor

Edited by rideTILLiDIE01: 12/30/2014 4:52:22 AMIdk if you're telling the truth or not, but if you are, there is only one piece of advise to give...seek the help of a medical professional. You don't wait around and see if something like that clears up. Go to a proctologist so he/she can put a camera up your ass and see what's going on up there. You may have a polyp(s). Good luck to you.

Dude tell the hell outa somebody I'm no doctor but my grandmother had a heart attack and instead of calling anyone she left it for 3 days where when she did go to the hospital it was hard for her to recover they also found cancer then and she had to wait for kimo because of the condition she was in after the heart attack. She died this past summer after 3 months of little treatment because it was found terminal. Point being don't wait out on these things tell someone about it. Say it is developing cancer cells then you would want to get to it while it's younger and smaller.I'm not saying it is cancer either there are plenty of things that could cause that but you would much rather be safe than sorry.

I'm 14 and I've had this too, I googled it too, but trust me when I say we're just overreacting it's just a cut/tear or your rubbed your butt raw from whipping so much or too hard XD; googling only makes it worst and makes your over react and worry. Just sit back relax and enjoy life your totally fine bro.

Just take a couple of aspirin and sleep it off. Trust me I've studied this disease for years as I am a professional.

Edited by Solar Voiking: 12/29/2014 7:10:48 PMLmao why are you posting this here ? If this was in fact for real I doubt you'll be looking for advice or a prayer on a bungie forum. 13 you say ? I know kids do dumb shit but my friend you stole the cake.
anyone in their right mind would be in the ER not on a forum
Google-diagnosis of illnesses is the same as being amazed by the pile of bones in the cave on earth. Go to your doctor, noob!
-
I'm studying in the medical field right now. Safe to say that this could be occurring from a wide variety of issues. Don't jump to conclusions like cancer because that's all you see on tv. Good luck to you

Or you coulda just ripped your anus... Ow...
-
I suggest getting your parents to set up a doctors appointment for you to talk to a professional about this. No one on here can actually really physically help you besides giving advice and other useful info. Best least it to the people who get paid to do it as they do it right.
-
If you have diarrhea, you might have just rubbed your ass raw from how often you've been shitting.
-
Don't worry man. I like you have IBD. I have Crohn's disease and I want you to know no matter how low in life it may make you feel there's always a group of people out there that will always share your pain and will be quick to help you in an instant.
-
Bro. Tell you parents. Go get checked out. You'll be OK. My little brother had the same thing going on. It turned out to be a mixture of stress. And his digestive tract is sensitive to red meats. So with diet change. It cleared up. You'll be OK.
-
Don't jump to crazy conclusions. I'm sure you're fine- and by that, I mean I hope you are fine. Just make sure you see a doctor before self-diagnosing yourself.
-
I have this same problem my friend. I have some advice and some "shade three diagnosis". First: go to a gastroenterologist. Drink a gallon of lemon-lime flavored motor oil and get a colonoscopy. Diagnosis: you likely have ulcerative proctitis or ulcerative colitis. Google "crohn's and colitis foundation". It is not a death sentence. They have amazing medicine that will keep you in remission. Do not be afraid, friend. You will be alright.

Edited by Shadow wolf: 12/29/2014 5:29:12 AMOk, as a thorny guardian to thorny guardian I highly doubt you have cancer. Those cuts can happen to anyone. Plus it would be to do with dietary needs. It really depends on what you eat. Read spoiler only if you want to know why this may be happening and a way to help you out...
if you don't drink much water and heaps of junk food you poop is hard which makes cuts. I'm sure almost everyone in life experiences this and not because of those reasons above you mentioned. I learnt that... If you drink lots of water(not too much) and a good serving of fruit and vegetables each day it won't be much of a problem. Just trying to help you out. I just know from experience and learnt it in high school back in the days(I finished high school in 2012 to be exact).
I hope I helped you out.

If the blood is a light red then chances are you are just fine. However, if it's darker then see a doctor as that would likely be coming from further up in your system. That being said, seriously analyze your diet because excessive fast food, etc, can definitely lead to minor issues such as this. I notice when I let my eating habits go to hell I can end up with some light spotting in my stool from the area getting irritated and inflamed, particularly notice it from spicy and extra greasy food.
