I think most of us have either heard about or experienced the latest exotic to come to us through the black market. Frankly, No Land Beyond is by no means a practical primary weapon against aliens or Gaurdians. However, I find its quirky handling appealing and its unique sound pleasing to the ear. Sure it handles sluggishly, but it was meant to resemble an old 20th century rifle, which wasn't a mechanic masterpiece either.
forgive me for not knowing what model of rifle, I'm not a gun person
As is, NLB is fun to goof around with, a stylish, atypical weapon.
It does need a little buff, but nothing major. Here are a few suggestions to that end:
1) Perhaps a buff to its already high critical damage is in order. With more crit, players who put up with its slow bolt action and poor target requisition would be rewarded with the satisfaction of popping knights' heads in one hit and gain a new boss busting buddy.
2) Provide an additional magazine for this ammunition glutton. It makes no sense that NLB has 24 rounds when you respawn, but you can only carry twelve rounds off the ground. It doesn' help at all that it only gains three or four rounds with each ammo pick-up, and armor bonuses only increase its capacity by three rounds.
No Land Beyond has so much potential as a fun alternative to an auto rifle, but it needs a little love. It is for that reason No Land Beyond is my new favorite weapon in Destiny.
