Okay. So I was looking online and came across this post/whatever you call it. I think that this theory is pretty plausible. When Xur says that the Darkness is a mirror of the Traveler, I think that the Traveler is evil. That was said already. I just have to get my thoughts straight. But this is so mind blowing. All of this. May I add something? I think that of course, with all of this Black Garden inside, and Vex+Rasputin=Life stuff going around, I'm getting pretty confused. So this is what I think. So Humanity discovers the Traveler and finds out what power it holds. They then have a golden age, where everything is absolutely awesome. All of a sudden, this "evil" Darkness comes, and nearly wipes us out. Thing is, what if the Darkness is trying to save us from the Traveler? Who says the Darkness killed us, because we have absolutely no memory of our past life whatsoever, and all we have is some very assuring(sarcasm) information from the speaker? Maybe all of those sentient beings we're fighting know that the Traveler is evil, and aren't trying to kill us, but make it look like we're extinct so that the Traveler will move on(Inspired from Rasputin theory) and about the dregs screaming "It's the darkness" when they see us. They're scared and defending themselves, like pretty much everyone from a clown. They're scared, and I think that the Dreg think that we're trying to kill them, which we are. Then, the Vandals and Captains have to defend them. Maybe the Vex are peaceful, and aren't trying to implement themselves in time to kill us, but to defeat the Traveler to save countless species from it's evil ways? Maybe the Traveler screwed them up really bad, and they know what the Traveler is really like. I don't know what to put for the Cabal and the Fallen. I need some help because of course there are many problems with this theory, but feel free to reply to help get this idea mapped out and expanded. I'll be visiting this page whenever I can, so I'll try to reply to everyone. Thanks for reading this far too!
