What started as a great big slap to the face of many who would be getting new video games, in my opinion, is the best thing that could have possibly happened on Christmas.
Christmas is about giving gifts, eating good food and spending time with family and the ones you love, and more importantly to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Xbox has a way of breaking those habits and isolating gamers from all others. So, while the servers are down, people really have no choice but to sit down and have a nice cup of cocoa with the folks.
And I think you'll realize that you'll be the better for it.
Merry Christmas everyone, and have a blessed New Years.

I didn't take in consideration things like Skype and video chat for people who use it to communicate with others over long distances or parents who have gotten their kids xboxes for Christmas, and if that's the case, I apologize.
This wasn't meant to be a douche post, just my personal opinion on family time in the holidays. No need to get so worked up. If it bothers you, move on.

Yeah? -I live alone -I'm only 19, making around 1,200 a month -Living on my own paying bills with money from a shit job -No family (they are all deceased) -No loved ones to spend time with -No one to spend holidays with or to simply just enjoy being around. -Only form of entertainment is Xbox Now with all that said, when I get home after dealing with assholes at work for 8 hours I like to enjoy some Xbox because that's my only real entertainment. When I hear some jerk offs decide to take it offline for no apparent reason it pisses me off.
