Ascendant Shards
Hey, I seem to be stuck on level 27 as I'm unable to upgrade anymore of my armour as I need ascendant shards. What's the best way to get these? I've seen that breaking down legendary armour can produce shards but is that only on certain armour etc? Thanks.

daily heroic story each day on higher difficulty levels gives either energy or shards postmaster package each day for first gold tier public event can also give shards, as can any public event vault of glass raid can give you loads of them

What system? If on 360 my friends and I could run you through the raid to get extra. I also would be happy to run pub events with you.

2 RepliesDaily public events some times can give your shards as a reward for completing them (3*gold) and for doughnut the first time each day you get a msg at the postmaster in the tower that sometimes is a shard (not always) you can buy vanguard gear (cheapest possible same shards ether way) and dismantle them (same for crucible gear) other than that there's not real easy way. You can get tons of them as chest rewards in the vault of glass strike but you need a fire team of six at least the majority should be LVL 28-29+ to not get stuck in there for hours. Other than dismantling Legendary Gear (except for the Queen and Iron Banner equips, which WILL NOT give you Ascendant Shards), the best way to farm them is by doing either the Vault of Glass Raid or every Public Event, hoping to get an Ascendant Shard at its end. You can use the Destiny Public Event Tracker App to know where they are and when they begin! Hope this can help you ;)

2 RepliesAll armor kan be sharded. Also try the raid. There are more than enough shards there.
