If it wasn't for him giving lizard squad and all 3000 members of the hack group a life time membership to MEGA Upload.... They would still be hitting XBOX and PSN offline right now.
Edit: okay maybe they are not a hack group, but still a bunch of trolls who can still do enough damage to prevent you from enjoying your games.

Kim Dot Com is a fat bag of crap. He said the US government should learn diplomacy. Why would our government give Lizard Squad anything but jail time. No they aren't. They are chumps for caving in. All they have done is further reward these idiots and ensure this kind of thing will happen more and more. Now every attention seeking, greedy script kiddie looking for a pay out will just go after one or both systems now. Would have rather seen both systems just stay down until they were caught or Sony and Microsoft kicked them out of their networks than have these retards profit.
