I am not religious but was aiming for the betrayal/snitch part as Judas betrayed Jesus/was a snitch

That's reasonable, that term has reached past it's original intent. The guy that reported, though, wouldn't be a Judas because he didn't betray the PUG. There was no bond between them, I'm sure.

He was a snitch though, judas in modern day language is also a commonly used term for snitches
