This was posted already somewhere else, but it fits your way of life perfectly.
This guy in the video must be a god to you.
He did nothing wrong according to your reasoning, after all he paid 60$ for his uniform.
The army has to be thankful to him, because he found the glitch where you could get all the nice insignias of being a true veteran.
The veteran was wrong to call him out.
EDIT:
#satire
The veteran in the video had absolutely no reason to call the guy out. He was not affecting his shopping at all. In fact, making a video about it and posting it on youtube was just snitching. He must have no life. It`s just a shopping mall, it`s not a battlefield, so what harm is done by this fatty for impersonating an officer? Maybe he was just very deep into Cosplaying. Can´t believe that he made a scene about it, the guy can go shopping in his underpants, what should I care? Good lord, it`s a shopping mall. People are taking these conmen way too seriously. Infact: faking an officer takes much more courage and knowledge than being a real one. The guy was just smart.
If you think about it: The army is to blame for making it so easy to impersonate an officer. They maybe should get off their lazy asses and patch their shit. I don`t know how many times I failed the army test, they wasted enough of my time, now I´m just wearing the uniform like I see fit. Paid 60 bucks for it. All the lame Poooolicemen can get of my back.

I do not believe you mean't to put #satire in this I bet you do feel the need to call out a veteran who is calling out a civilian for impersonating a staff sergeant. you need to learn what that uniform means to real veterans.
-
Yea it was actually being an asshole on Black Friday to just get in front of people saying i am in the army i need these things to continue being a hero
-
You are a piece of shit if you impersonate any military personnel!! Nuff said!
-
lol I wish a uniform only cost $60. A top or the pants by themselves run $50-60 on top of needing the $100+ boots and then add the $20 for socks and tan t shirts. When you wear through your uniforms faster than your scheduled turn ins or allowance happens you start learning quick lol
-
Army isnt to blame. People are people and the army is full of people.
-
Have you served, do you know if he was JUST shopping or trying to use the fact he was in uniform as a benefit (read: a crime). You don't, go to Ranger school, earn the tab and see if you dont get furious if some regular shit bag wears a uniform you have seen friends who truly earned and died in.
-
As a veteran and police officer. I don't care what they do it doesn't take away from what I've accomplished in the marines. Rangers are a joke anyway. Semper Fi 0331/11
-
As someone who proudly serves his country, guys who impersonate actual service members make me violently angry. I don't fault anyone for wanting a quiet, peaceful civilian life. It's a volunteer force. No one has to serve. I do so that everyone else can enjoy not being bombed by Isis on a daily basis. Bit for the love of all that is holy, don't pretend. Wanting the benefits without the sacrifice is cowardice. If you want to join the military, I'll happily swear you in. If you want to stay safe at home, that's why the rest of us willingly enlisted or accepted commissions and there is not a damn thing wrong with that choice. But when you pretend, you're an asshole and deserve bad things to happen to you.
-
It's a federal offense to impersonate a DoD employee. It's not a federal offense to glitch an already underwhelming video game.
-
What an idiot. Who the hell cares what he is wearing? Do you get your friends back if he changes his shirt? No. Leave people the -blam!- alone.
-
That's funny because I don't think we can go to jail for cheesing. I cheese all day man I cheesed so hard this one time that we didn't even know we were cheesed. It's the government mannn
-
Destiny is just a game kid, this is real life. Cheesing destiny is not equivalent to this real life dishonorable act. You're reaching. Calm down, it's not that deep at all lol
-
You are a stupid sack of shit. Any veteran would call out that piece of shit for impersonating an NCO, and especially for wearing a ranger scroll and cib. You may not understand what that means, but then again you are a pussy.
-
Hes not even an officer
-
Well I get it that that the guy seems like he was sloppy with his details but that guy had no right to be all up in his biz about it. I will always be thankful for people who serve. What I have begun to "dislike" is these vets who can't stop putting it out there about their service. I understand the sacrifice they gave but it comes off a big headed like we should praise them about it. Like I said I'm glad people make these decisions and I would have my self if I wasn't married and already had kids. (I know some of them have kids)
-
You're not a real 30! Stolen vendor valor!!
satire lol
-
That guy isn't a real 30 he just got lucky with RNG
-
Wow some people are really stupid in the comments lol
-
That veteran is a god damn man.
-
Comparing a dude impersonating a military vet to people cheesing in video games is pretty dumb. Its not even on the the same level. Poor troll is poor.
-
best bullshitter ive ever seen holy crap
-
If he really was impersonating, what would be the motive of wearing the uniform? Discounts?
-
That guy had every right to get called out... And it is illegal what he did... Glad it happened phonies like that deserve to get embarrassed
-
Edited by Paradoxical One: 12/26/2014 7:16:12 AMAgree with calling him out. Disagree with a tanner F-bombing the uniform he served in/the uniform his brothers died in. Comparing stolen valor to glitching is in poor taste.
-
This is not satire even if it was meant to be stolen valor is a reprehensible offence as well as a slap in the face to all current and prior service members.
-
There's nothing funny about stolen valor, satire or not. Impersonation of a military service member is not only a crime, but some lowlife scum shit. I'd call the dude out In a heartbeat, probably beat him with my cane too.
