This is the whole point: how is the game meant to be played? Seeing as it's a video game, it is essentially meant to be played however the player sees fit. That is, until Bungie puts the kabosh on the way you were playing it. Should we also ban players who were dancing on shrikes before Bungie said it was cool? How about people who accidentally used the old Voidfang glitch? We should probably also ban people who take cover in a boss fight instead of standing in the middle of enemy fire. My point is, just don't play with the damn people who glitch/cheese. No one is forcing you to do that in PvE. Absolutely no one. You get the chance to be the bigger man and just leave, letting the children play the game their broken way. But instead you choose to stoop to their level and report them for glitching/cheesing in a PvE environment you don't even have to be a part of.
