Goodbye.
Dear bungie, I am officially done with your bullcrap game. Unlike a lot of people, I actually enjoyed destiny. I enjoyed the strikes and the raids and the multiplayer maps, but I still have to leave. For four months now I have been watching your unfair loot system give exotics to people with 2 kills and 15 deaths, while people with 25 kills and 2 deaths get nothing. Something happened today that finally made me snap. I was playing the nightfall with my friend, right after we finally killed the boss the servers decided to kick me off, even though my internet really isn't that bad. So, after working so hard for 45 minutes I got nothing. Luckily enough, I had two friends who were planning on doing it soon. After working on the strike for about an hour with them we managed to beat it. You wanna know what I got? I GOT STRANGE COIN. NOT EVEN A LOT, JUST SIX STRANGE COIN. This wouldn't be so bad, if it weren't for the fact that I have only ever received one exotic over the course of this entire game. I have friends who have almost every exotic in the game while I have nothing but pocket infinity. Heck, I don't even have too many legendaries. You people made a game with the worst loot system in gaming history, terrible AI, DLC that should have been free, and matchmaking with hardly any options. I am done with this game, I am not coming back. You people have screwed me over one too many times. And to think I actually used to look up to you guys back when you did halo, now you are nothing more than a bunch of gold digging pigs. I am never playing another one of your games until you ditch Activision and start caring more about the game than the money. To all of you people who are going to come and call me nothing more than a hater in the comments, I am done here. Which means I am never coming back to this forum, so I won't see your comment.

So a friend and I had a discussion about players of today's gamer generation. It seems that they're thinking they're entitled to everything in games these days. People bitch and moan about how this isn't fair or how Bungie is ripping everyone off for one reason or another. Look, to some extent we can all agree that the game isn't perfect in some way, shape, or form..but do I think I got my $70 worth? Abso-blam!-inglutely. This isn't a subscription game, feel happy they give you anything for any new type of content. But go figure, if Bungie -did- start a subscription fee, there would be even more tears than what there are now. Tildr; quit bitching about a game that you paid $60 for 4 months ago, it gave you entertainment for the money you spent.

You'll never get loot rolls with 25% of your playtime in patrol. But that's besides the point... The flaws of an RNG loot system being that you need to play more to win more. Clearing any given activity doesn't guarantee a "good" drop. Which sucks for players with less play time.

That's all you have to do. Log in and be present when something is done. I know it may seem unfair, but it is the easiest blanket way to make a fair loot system with the current way the game is set up. If you had to come in first or second in every activity to even have a chance at rolling legendary and exotic items the game would be horrid. People would just become dicks and attempt to run ahead and steal kills. You'd see more camping and less team assistance in PvP. Why play control and go for the control points when I can come in first easier if I just kill the other team? A random reward system assists in preventing abusing the loot system. You want more chances to get better loot and have every exotic in the game? You need to complete activities faster. Taking an hour on a strike will give you just 1 roll, so will beating it in 15 minutes. I'm sorry the loot system is so frustrating for you, but Destiny didn't hide this fact from you. The loot system has been the same since you first played the game. The people who have a better selection of gear are either: A) Lucky B) Complete more loot activities than you do C) A combination of A and B

I just came back from the eye doctor, my eyes have still not adjusted. I bet I shed less tears sitting in the eye doctors office than you did in this post. Destiny has its flaws but it has a lot of strengths as well. See you on the next dlc,

I haven't gotten any exotics from nightfalls since the update. I have had a lot of fun though, with good friends. Couldn't ask for more.
