Best perk for snipers(Video)! For the low price of 150 Vanguard marks you can get...!!!!
The LDR 5001 with armor piercing rounds!!! Do you have problems with those pesky guardians running away from you? Is there a golden gun waiting to disintegrate your friends at capture point C(1:33)? Enemies camping behind wall with fusion rifles/shotguns? Armor piercing rounds will do the trick!
But wait! There's more! By completing the exotic bounty "A Light in the Dark" you can have your very own tracking system for this wonderful sniper! See beginning of video and throughout.
Disclaimer: No refunds will be accepted to the Vanguard crucible master and upon dismantle you shall receive ascendant energy/weapon parts. One Vanguard commendation is required. Mark of the Devourer may take over and terminate the enemy before tracking system takes place. No guarantee for special ammo drops as you will be having so much fun firing widely at walls. PvE usefulness is also amazing but not shown in this video advertisement. Armor piercing rounds are also available through random drops.

3 RepliesI found my LDR 5001, it has armor piercing rounds equipped, I tested it on PvP and all my shots either ricochet or just stop when they hit the wall.

1 ReplyI know your post is old but I hope you see this. I was searching for video on the ambush scope and found your video. I have watched a bunch of video of crucible play but yours is by far the best I have ever seen. Great play style and great skill. Love the Thorn tracking hahahah!

The best perk for snipers is either the regenerating ammo perk or the 3 precision shots fills the magazine perk. Yeah

I'm amazed so little people knew this. Its the reason I got mine in the first place and will probably be using it over Ice Breaker in pvp.

Just noticed my Efrideet's Spear sniper rifle has AP rounds. Will have to play around with that perk. I have Thorn as well. Looks like a beast.

6 RepliesThere's still many players who don't know about this particular perk. Bump for visibility. I first figured out what this perk could do when I got a Supremacy with AP rounds during the queen event. Needless to say I got a lot of "hacker!!" messages back then after sniping people through solid walls. People are slowly starting to catch on to the greatness of a sniper like this.

2 Replieswhy doesn't that work with any other gun with armor rounds? i picked up a scout specifically for that and it didn't work. guess i'll go buy this. also does this work in PVE? they hide way more than PVP players do.
