So, a little while ago I made a post about dead orbit shaders, or my lack thereof. And the problem persists. Oh! This is going to be a long post. Well, I've ranked up 3 times since then, obvously whilst not acquiring any of the 3 possible shaders. And as far as i know I am the highest ranked shader-less D.O. member, the secon highest iv'e heard of is 19. (I'f youve gotten past 25 without a shader please comment here, I'd love to know that not only am I not an anomaly, but that there is still hope of my aquiring it. I haven't gotten very much my last 2 ranks and that indicates to me that shaders may not be available after a certain rank, {that's probably not the case..} some clarification would be nice.) *ahem* *Pauses for dramatic effect* Just so were clear, starting at rank 6 (which could be wrong.) and onward it is possible to aquire a dead orbit shader from a dead orbit package at the postmaster, after achieving a new rank in dead orbit* ( Applies to all factions.*) *ahem* *AAhehem* *Cough* *Sickly coughing that is obviously not intended to clear the throat but is, in fact, a symptom of a gruesome respatory condition* This means that I have 'rolled' for a shader NINETEEN TIMES. Which is fine... I .. guess. But just yesterday, My younger brother got to rank 7 in D.O. and HE GOT BITTERSTEEL!!! HAVING ROLLED [b][i]TWICE[/i][/b]!!! Let me tell you, as soon as I heard the words "Oh my god I just got bittersteel." I promptly muted my mic and let out a blood curdling "FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Like, I used to yell at videogames. I still do, but now it's in the name of comedy. (exercising my 'funny muscle' and not my 'angry muscle' if you catch my meaning.) Last time I asked for bungie to send me a shader in the mail, and was not surprised when i got a 'keep on truckin' buddy, you'll get there' response. And on the grounds that it turns out I am the [i]'highest ranked shaderless deadorbit member in the universe!'[/i] I would have to say to bungie, c'maaaahhn!! On a serious note, Bungie PLEASE put the shaders up for sale at the faction vendors, I am starting to crack up. Much love, ~Raven
