Atheon was cheesed constantly and no bans were issued. Cheesing Crota has the same net result (loot you haven't "earned"); only the mechanic is different. While that mechanic may [i]technically[/i] fall under the category of a bannable offense, I don't see anyone being punished for it.
To wit: this isn't just Bungie we're talking about here, but Activision. Remember in Black Ops 2 when people would dashboard all the time to save their precious K/Ds? This constituted network manipulation in order to gain an unfair advantage and was highly disruptive to other players. But at most people would receive temporary probation from the game if they repeatedly dashboarded. I'd expect a similar nonchalance here, with bans being reserved for Crucible exploits or genuine hacks.
Your role as a moderator enables you immediately ban this user from messaging (bypassing the report queue) if you select a punishment.
