I know I keep stressing this but I want to get the idea out there. This would speed up the process a little for those of us that can't play a the time (college, military, traveling jobs etc.)

I want trading asap, please Let's have a vote for trading, majority wins And We will have trading as there should be Thanks

I would be fine with this if we were trading in-house items -- i.e., glimmer or such and not real cash. We'd specify what item the auction had to offer, set a minimum price, face a percentage given to the auction house and away we go. If you don't have anything good to trade, you can't participate. So you still have to earn something and now we have a way to get around the RNG -- which doesn't involve earning anything. I got Gjallerhorn the first time I did the VoG out of a chest. I know people who have played way more hours than me who still don't have this exotic. I was insanely fortunate and yes I'm happy about it. Someone else who has two should be able to sell or auction one -- not just grind it up into an insanely small number of parts in comparison.

No thanks... If you can't earn the gear you don't deserve it. And when I say earn I have no problem with people buying from xur...

Diablo 3s attempt at an auction house was an unqualified disaster. The day you started one in Destiny, you'd have people farming the raids and selling it to people who couldn't be bothered to do it. The day after that, you'd be gettting e-mail solicitations to sell you gear for real money.

I will bid top dollar for raid matchmaking
-
Yeh but we need a proper currency

Sorry, in game trading system would ruin Destiny. Besides, I don't want the exploit of people giving great weapons and gear for free, or to make friends, or because they just don't know any better. You keep what you earn and that is how it should be. There is enough exploitation in this game already...

I don't think that Bungie will add any sort of training/auction house because of Xur. He's sold too many exotics which would ruin any sort of economy. In my opinion the original way of getting loot from engrams actually leaned towards a trading based game, as you had to roll the dice twice; once for the rarity of the Engram drop and another for the decryption.
