Edit3: Ok, this went not to bad for a first troll post. Will think about another one. While I think, have fun with the game, the way you want to and pay respect to other people!
Playing the raid means learning some mechanics and then repeat certain steps to obtain a goal. It's something a monkey could learn.
PvP means constantly changing requirements and the toughest enemies possible: humans.
I must know, because they kick my ass a lot!
You're nothing special, if you beat an AI!
PvP master race > raid!
(There is no raid master race, because there is nothing to master!)
Edit: Keep it coming, raiders. If you like "puzzles" I'd also recommend Crush Candy Saga and Angry Birds.
Edit2: Some just don't get it. In no way an AI can beat a human in our days, let's say if not chess or something similar.
"Oh, you get teleported and take a relic while two others shoot Oracles." Oh, yeah, I see, that's really complicated for some.
Done it several times and it's nothing but BORING!
Fits you well, lol!

I know some humans that are easier to farm than raid bosses...
-
destiny only game where co op gets you bragging rights. nuf said.
-
yes because pvp is any different then flappy bird
-
If you only want pvp, why play a game like destiny. Go play something with real pvp that is competitive. Destiny is a casual joke game. It's half witted raiding and laggy unbalanced, unranked, non private pvp playlists
-
Id say the 2 are equal, I have never met anyone who is a beast in the raids who sucks at PVP. From what I can tell the sheep in PVP are the same exact pricks that end up needing someone to carry them in the raids.
-
Why do you care how people spend their time on this game?
-
lag baboon fanatics>diffuclty 0 seems legit
-
The true difficult in raid is put togheter a tteam of six persons and collaborate for hours and hours not for 5 minutes in clash, go and do a raid without spoiler on YouTube and then we can talk

U da man

Edited by concore1: 12/22/2014 8:46:30 AM1st of All, Have you even attempted the raid before? You probably bought the dlc just for the multi player maps. Go play call of duty, noob. 2nd, you can only get to level 32 with raid armor. TAKE THAT NOOB! #pvemasterrace
-
I'm great at both. I'm never a burden on my pvp team and always have a positive K/D, alot higher now then when I first started playing. I've also collected every raid armor and weapon from the VoG. Currently I'm 1 chest piece from reaching level 32 with CrE raid armor, which I should get this up coming weak. Destiny Master Race
-
I'm trash in pvp , but I'd like to see half these pvp people run the raid without cheese. That would be an entertaining 5 hrs of wipeing.
-
Agreed! PvP is by far and away the most dynamic part of this game. I could give a flying shit about killing AI. Most of the people who beat the raids (and most of the strikes) cheese em to death and have the nerve to call everyone else casuals lmao
-
I have single handedly carried my team in PvP many times without breaking a sweat. Easy. Monotonous. Teaching a bunch of randoms to get timing on crota is a different monster every time. Tedious
-
Raiding is like being really good at Pacman. And Pacman sucks. All raising is just time and patterns. Every fight is exactly the same each and every time. The first run is the only fun one. After that? Why bother.
-
See how you handle Omnigul alone first cause no way your scrub ass is touching the raid so keep playing pvp
-
gr8 b8 m8 I r8 8/8
-
Toughest enemies these kids are almost all -blam!-ing worse than a dreg
-
That's like saying you play cod for the "story"
-
You now nothing about PvP. They made the raids to reflect the way PvP is being played by high level competitive players. You learn a set up (spawn control/trapping/points, etc.), get key players into power positions (map control), and rotate when things go awry (this is why they changed the teleporting in the VoG).
-
Go do Atheon by yourself, pvp God, and see how godlike you really are.
-
Learning some mechanics and then repeating certain steps? Like learning map layouts, spawn points and zone control, and then repeating the step of shooting them in the head first? Constantly changing requirements? Funny, seems like everybody does the exact same thing in every match. Toughest enemies possible? Humans? You mean the same guys who try to shoulder charge me across 30 feet of wide open terrain? The same guys who charge straight into my ward of dawn expecting to melee me to death? The same guys who sabotage their team by getting a crappy zone? Those guys? Friend, humans are some of the most predictable enemies you will ever encounter. Ease of death is what makes people dangerous in the crucible. There is no "master race".
-
Pvp means constant fusion rifles and shotguns
-
Says the kid with no linked account?
-
I dont pvp and i agree... a pure raider prob couldnt hold his own in crucible while a good pvper could adjust well to raiding...i have a cookie for u op
