This will probably make your day. AFK in the crucible.
Seriously guys watch this video. I came across this guy yesterday in the crucible, he seemed to be afk the entire game and not contributing to the team. When he did get on he danced, so I decided to plot my revenge.
EDIT: Purpose of this video isn't because I thought "oh I sure showed him, " it was because it was a funny moment. I wasn't expecting him to actually get head shot like that. And before you say "oh I shouldn't have cared and I should have contributed to my team" it took like 5 seconds to do this.
EDIT2: The guy is on my team.

22 RepliesJust today I was doing a strike with a friend. And the pub we were with was afk. I messaged hum asking him if he needed us to wait or what. He said to do the strike. He has a bounty to do a strike without dying so he was just gonna chill in the back. We are in roc. So this didn't sit well with me so I got my revenge. He was near a ledge. So I stood in front of him. He stared at me. I knew he was holding his Co trolley because his head was moving and such. So... while stating at me.... I pulled out my ghost and stare at him a moment. And then I just spawned my sparrow and blasted forward. Throwing me and the asshole off the ledge. Needless to say.... he left and sent me a very unfriendly message. I was satisfied.

1 ReplySeems to me team mates are worthless anyways. Sure there are times when team work is included but most of the time it's just people doing whatever they want. Exploring the map. Watching you die before they jump in. Not playing the objective. List continues. So I'm not surprised to see someone milking it in the crucible.

Hahahaha I think afkers or people just dance should be kicked real quick and there should be a small time ban on joining another game. Like 3 times gets you 10 minutes or something just to disrupt their playing and to hopefully prevent it

4 RepliesHow to troll strikes. Step one: make sure you have plenty of free time, or another activity to do. My personal favorites are watching a movie on my pc or playing on last gen while I wait. Every now and then move around before resuming to dance. Step two: Go into a strike, set voicechat to strike team chat and DANCE. (make sure the other players can hear your activity through your mic to really piss them off) Step three: Laugh your ass off as the ragemail piles up. Or by having someone waste their time trying to make us play or leave. Remember trolls, we're going in with the intent to ruin/waste other people's playtime. They just want to play the strike, therefore an hour long session results in a win for us! Step 4: Profit with free rewards! AFK FOR LIFE

Playing devils lair a couple days back. There was a dude afk on a sparrow at the devil walker portion. My guess for being on the sparrow was so he couldn't be slammed. Well after about 20 seconds of bumper cars his sparrow flipped and he came off. So I expedited his venture to orbit by smashing him into a wall. He departed the strike immediately after.

Btw, when someone is afk in the summoning pits I wait that my other teammate dies. Then I kill myself with a rocket and the complete fireteam respawns in front of the door where the enemy waves are spawning. ;)

3 Replieswhy not go AFK? make yourself a cuppa, go on laptop put on a film or something and just watch those crucible marks pile up and become level 31 and play the game properly in no time while possibly picking up a new exotic with the RNG honestly the amount of incentives to go AFK in destiny is ridiculous as you can skip half the grinding with it
