Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Was playing the game for about a month when I got my first legendary engram. Got really amped for what I thought I might get... Mote of light popped out. Almost quit the game right then and there.

First time beating oryx got 2 auto rifles 2nd time beating him got 1 auto rifle 3rd time beating him got auto rifle highest was 307. Bungee said rng was suppose to be better and not keep rewarding same things really

I did NF yesterday and I got a ghost shell. Exactly what I got last NF. Then I did it again. 12 3oC. (Well at least I can get duplicate exotics.) I couldn't do it a third time because my friends had already done it. [spoiler]FML.[/spoiler]

Lol[/quote] I did vog hard and a guy got Gally and vex a other guy got vision others got atheons epilogue and armor I got ascendent shards

My horrible HM KF raid. Only useful things were the rocket launcher and mark.

Finally beat Oryx, had 61 moldering shards. Got nothing, and looked in my inventory. Down to 41 shards, what is the point of these things again?

The whole KF hard raid and only got a chest piece from Golgoroth and 311 scout and 318 Titan mark from Oryx. I'm just,happy I beat him.

On the week that Kings Fall came out I managed to get arms (308), a Ghost (309), and a Fusion Rifle (302), and my friends and I only made it Golgoroth. Thought that was a great start to a Raid. Then, the worst possible week of RNG for me arrives, the second week of Kings Fall. Did two runs on Kings Fall with my two Hunters and made it to Oryx both times. That's a total of 8 checkpoints. I got nothing but Moldering Shards on both runs. Also, keep in mind that this was during the time when we were still struggling with Golgoroth, so all that frustration and not a single piece of gear to show for it. 8 CHECKPOINTS! Honestly, I get more from Nightfalls and my daily runs on Vanguard Strikes than I would ever get from this damn Raid.
