If you were to choose, which would you become? A Spartan-II, a Spartan-III (Alpha Company-Beta Company), or a Spartan-III (Gamma Company)
Factor in all risks and benefits.
I would choose Spartan-III (Alpha Company-Beta Company) because of, ya know, the 100% survival rate and the absence of the neurological "enhancement"
Spartan II program due to the fact that great soldiers such as John-117, Linda-058(did I get that right?) and Frederic-104 came out of this program. yes the survival rate is 33/75 in first class, and second class numbers unknown, but the benefits of surviving are great. I'm not saying Spartan III's are not good, Noble team was amazing, but I believe surviving S-II is much more beneficial.

Yeah, but choosing Alpha and Beta is a death sentence. Unless you manage to be a top tier soldier and whisked into the Headhunter program.

The only problem I see with Alpha and Beta was lack of training and technological advancement that Gamma had. But Noble 6, the only other Spartan to get a hyper-lethal rating, came from Beta Company immediately pulled from training. That said majority of Noble Team came from Alpha and Beta Company.

Exactly, which means if you aren't deemed too useful to be expended, you have a death sentence.
