Ghost (voiced by a synthesizer, not Peter Dinklage)—“I can’t believe how fast it all happened…”
Cut from black to stylized scenes of the tower being reduced to ashes, and the city being invaded, amidst the sound of the Ghost coughing, which sounds almost more like static. (Cut to black)
Guardian—“Well get used to it, we’ve got work to do…and are your voice coils still acting up?”
Cut to the dead of night with the only light coming from the engine of a sparrow, as it whizzes past the camera and towards the crumbling remains of The City in the distance:
Ghost—“Yeah, the replacements still don’t mesh quite right…”
Cut to a Fallen Dreg, one of a dozen guarding a crumbling gate to the city, as he turns towards the sound of an incoming Sparrow. He points and screams as the others open fire, but it’s too late. The camera pans to see a shadowy figure leap from the sparrow, lightning coursing through his arms as he flies 30 feet through the air and slams down on the fallen. Cut to a shockwave bursting through the gate, obliterating everything and sending bodies flying.
As electricity still arcs across the ground, the camera pans up from the ankles of the guardian to his face as he slowly walk forward, surveying his destruction. With an angry sigh, the guardian takes off his helmet, and you see that it is YOUR guardian as he looks on with genuine sadness at what remains of the city. He holds up his hand and his battered old Ghost materializes in the air.
Guardian—“Ghost, find me the leader of these fallen… find me the one who did this.”
Ghost—“My sensors don’t detect anything (cough!), I guess we’ll just have to look arou..”
The guardian abruptly shoves the Ghost away, unholsters his primary weapon, kicks over a dying Dreg, and points the gun in its face, roaring:
“WHERE, is your Kell?!”
Through the Dreg’s shattered helmet you can see its fanged face grumble defiant gibberish, then it wrenches and spits slime at the guardian. Cut to the Guardian wincing as the slime hits his face, then glaring and firing his weapon. The guardian rolls his eyes as he wipes off the slime, and his ghost stares at the dead dreg for a moment before floating right to the guardian’s face:
Ghost—“Ok, YOU need to calm down.”
Guardian (glaring)—“This is my home Ghost…” (snatches the ghost down like a baseball. It squirms briefly, then dematerializes. Camera zooms very close to face) “…now, NOW this is PERSONAL!” he growls.
From the close-up the camera flips around so it is now in first-person, as the Guardian materializes his helmet into his hand and shoves it over his head (and the camera) which brings you to normal first-person with HUD and all, and the player gains control of movement.
Ghost—“…I still think you need to amp down…”
Guardian—“ …shut up, little light…”
Ghost—“Hey!”
“Press square to reload” flashes on the screen as the tutorial takes over and guides you through the rubble, shooting low level Fallen as you and your ghost bicker all the way…

Yep, so close!
-
But are not the Cabal invading? Why he ask for a Kell ? Its a diferent kind of race.

More like: Ghost: "The Tower, the City it all has been destroyed." Guardian: "Hm? Which City? I don't care about the Tower, didn't know anyone in there." Ghost: "Guess you're right, wanna go kick some Fallen asses?" Guardian: "Yes, why not."
-
I think it's a decent start, but doesn't really do "it" for me. The entire "It's my home," thing is what spun it off for me. We're (Human/Awoken/Exos) brought back from death in order to be killing machines. Our home is/was somewhere else. Now having the tutorial be the battle which makes the city fall, where I watch NPC guardians fall. (Something like what the battle of the Twilight Gap was...), that'd be interesting. And at the end of it, having to evacuate into the city. That could give a sense of urgency.

Edited by CharacterZ3RO: 12/22/2014 6:14:55 AMThe fallen don't understand English your intro won't work try again. Also if the tower was atked you would have been there or received distress signals. The traveler is also there defending to. None of this would happen.
-
There is not enough explosions, rail guns, or lightning.
-
Nicely written... would not complain if it would be like this :-)
-
I'll pass on this game...
-
I loved it until it said "Cut from black"...
-
Everything was good up to the point when the ghost said "You need to calm down"
-
Does the Cryptarse die with the Tower?
-
If bungie can get Morgan Freeman as a narrator.... Or as Ghost! XD
-
Cool!
-
sounds like something that would excite an 11 year old, exactly the same demographic CoD and Destiny is aiming at.
-
This sounds amazing. I assume that the Warlock would use Nova Bomb to break through the gate, but what would a Hunter use?
-
This is AMAZING. Had me hooked from the beginning!
-
Anybody else think they would prefer a female voice for their ghost?
-
Starter bump
-
Wrong. There were no error codes in that intro.

Edited by TTMAR65: 12/21/2014 8:09:39 PMwow...legit I want to see this as a game! very well done! kinda sounds like a movie until the fps HUD pops up

Good intro! Unfortunately, we find out that we play as a dregs now and have to grind to become a Kell. I am going to play one of those dregs that pilot their transport ships. I will fly in, drop off fallen and then head back to base to pick up more fallen. I will do this all day until I get bored. Then, I will play Worf's "Prepare for ramming speed!", as I then crash my ships into helpless guardians down below who're trying to scavenge resource nodes.

My version : The Stanger " in the beginning there was nothing but darkness. Every inched of the universe covered in the dark, that all changed when the traveler came to be. Light was brought into the universe 5 trillion years ago and that was also when the war started. Light vs dark, Ying and yang. The traveller brought life and unity. The darkness only twisted and destroyed living matter. Devoured light. When the traveler came here the darkness followed. The darkness is one of the traveler enemies one of its oldest enemies. it was here the traveler stayed and fought back for the first time. It gave it's life for us, in return we saved it from death. We helped healed it we pushed by the darkness but not for long for it is coming. The hive and vex are just the beginning, killing crota has weakened the hive but their gods will come. Ur, xol, eir, yol and orxy. The vex will send more out to take out humanity. But I am not afraid for we have healed the traveler and are ready this time." The screen shows the stars, a huge hive space ship enters the solar system with the symbol of yol. The stranger looks at the guardians and the speaker. The stranger" and so it begins" Guardians fly off into space and start to combat the hive. The screen goes to black.

And the reason your not part of Bungie's story writing team is...?
