I find it weird that when Destiny first came out everyone who was defending it's lack of content and lack of focus on anything from the MMO genre kept saying "IT'S NOT AN MMO!" Now everyone who is defending the HEAVY criticism of the mind numbing grind keeps saying it IS an MMO. It's not. Bungie even said several times pre-launch that it wasn't. Please use another line if you want to try to justify the grind.
If Destiny had more planets or even more areas to explore on the ones we have and there were more enemies and weapons and everything wasn't pure RNG I would be right with you still defending the grind. As it stands I've logged in once or twice since exotic resets were announced and the DLC dropped but I keep checking these forums for some faint glimmer of hope that probably won't come. I'm getting tired of the phrase "If you don't like grinding why are you playing an MMO" though. Destiny needs to find it's identity, if the players defending your game do a complete 180 your progress isn't going so well.
