A player I met recently commented to me that [b]"this game is all about GRINDING"[/b], and I'm afraid she is correct. While it can be fun for a while, the fact that our progress in leveling is not innate to the character but to the gear we acquire - means that the hunt for acquiring and upgrading gear [b]will never end[/b]. That's a lot of hours spent. Hmm. Well I expect to play Destiny casually for a while until Mass Effect Next, but since I can expect to be able to simply purchase leveled armor at each expansion -there's less need to kill myself grinding away.
