So xurtarch blessed/cursed me with obsidian mind. I was quite pleased because all the new vendor helms look like total butt, and I know it's just a rehash of an older helmet, but it blacks out my entire head and looks great for the whole void thing I'm going for...
...Anyways,
I play a warlock like I've played every Mage class: straight dps. If I'm not killing more things and damaging more of the boss than the rest of my fireteam, I have failed. There is nothing more majestic than watching mobs upon mobs bloom into fireworks for the rest of my team to see. The empty room afterwords ain't too shabby either. I couldn't think of a better way to use my space magic, that is, until I got obsidian mind.
Axiom bolts are my staple and it pairs nice with voidfang, but I mean, they're just grenades.
Why settle when my super could be my staple?
I guess it's only right to thirst after that kind of power.
So it was obviously time to respec. Bloom was taking too many kills away from my super and without bloom, axiom bolts become weak. I also eliminated all the drain abilities and tried to focus on raw power. I wasn't left with a great amount of choices but they were still tough to choose.
Which nova? Which grenade? Do I even need armor?
Testing out my magics to the pits of the moon, where the enemies are on endless respawn. Need to figure this out, like a true warlock, alone and surrounded by baddies.
Any guardian feedback would be greatly appreciated. Ideas, combos and synergies welcomed. Remember: damage equals winning!

So I guess no one rolls void walker then..
