YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

Every time the reward screen comes up... ... I get shitted on with ascendant energies in nightfall, raids, EVERYTHING.

Before the dlc came out, I was doing a nightfall. Like the nice guy I am I decided to invite a couple of friends when the boss was about to die..... They get exotics - ice breaker and armor..... I got 5 strange coins. They both had 0 kills 0 deaths. -.-

One time master rahool handed me a sock at first I though it was filled with taco meat... Then the smell hit me. He smiled the whole time and talked about pre golden age German. I'm worried staring at those glowing octohedrons all day may have left him mentally unbalanced.

As a side note: I am the raid rabbit's foot, 6 times in the past 2 weeks out of 9 attempts someone pulls the Icebreaker from the chest. (3 of them were new to the raid). I also have seen ppl get the gear / weps they have wanted over and over and over again. Fatebringer , Hezen Vengeance, Raid helm or boots whichever they didn't have yet! Croata's End (rabbit foot luck continues) Marks/cloaks/bonds/energies/shards while 2 others have pulled black hammer and dragons breath from chest#1

Every Nightfall. I haven't gotten an Exotic I can actually use yet. I've gotten coins, shards, energy, legendaries I don't want, and an Exotic Hunter helmet (I'm a Titan).

Three raids this morning; all I got were shards, energy, and the fusion rifle Three nightfalls: knucklehead (got out of an engram when xur came), crest of alpha lupi (useless because I have the raid chest, and 5 ascendant shards. FUUUUCK

6 RepliesStrange coins is one of the worst rewards you can get from the nightfall. The lowest I've ever gotten were 7 of them. Nightfall falls under "very hard" category mode even if you are level 30 or 31, but the weekly heroic considered "hard" mode and you get more strange coins out of it than the nightfall. I call Bungie bs on that one.

2 nightfall ago one character got a Mida multi tool (same week xur sold it), next character got 10 energys, last character got 5 strange coins. next nightfall, got shards on one, repeat gun again, and strange coins

A friend and I do the nightfall it's sekrion in the nexus we get him to pretty much 1 shot away another friend joins shoots him once he dies me and first friend get nothing while the one who joined at the end got a gjallarhorn

50+ clears of Heroic Mechanar with no Suneater (tank sword). Once acquired, months of clears of Serpentshrine Caverns, Mount Hyjal, and Black Temple with no tank weapon drops to replace it... Yay for tanking Flames of Azzinoth and Illidan with a weapon from a 5-man Heroic weapon!

One time long ago I did the nightfall and got a legendary engram, it was only my second time ever completeing the nightfall and all excitedly I immediately went to the tower and ran over to the Cryptarch (I had only ever had one or 2 Legendary engrams ever at this point so I was damn excited) decrypted it and what did I see pop up... 1 lowly Mote of Light. Most disappointing and anticlimactic feeling ever.

3 RepliesToday, in Iron Banner, My team lost and I was the only one who got a Reward which was A Blue Engram. Then when returning to orbit I got No Land Beyond. XD I knew killing all the mobs in every strike would get RNGESUS on my side.

Finished a Nightfall where we nearly wiped to orbit 6 times, received 6 Ascendant Energy ( I had over 180 in my vault).

Carried 2 26's through the Devil's Lair Nightfall. What did they get? Hawkmoon and G-Horn. What did I get? 5 strange coins.

I once got thee legendary engrams to drop I was bouncing off walls as my ship flew back to the tower I walk over to the asshole rahool and.... Energy energy and more energy I didn't play for about 2weeks after that

I was doing the daily solo on 28(post DLC) just running thro doing my thing! my buddy joins right at end, like 1 kill it's over kinda end and what does it say?, My buddy Finds legendary engram and I get the AWSOME blue with 100+ kills and all the work done:/ lol no big deal I say as he laughs and I cringe, gets better tho!! After mission we go to tower and he decodes his sparkling new purple engram and what do you know BAM the dam thing turns into a "last word" and he laughed again!!:( it still burns me when ever he brings it up
