YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

Doing some ROC strikes with 2 other randoms. First one someone got a legendary primary engram, 2nd the other guy got a legendary heavy engram, 3rd they both got ships. All I had all runs was blues.

1 ReplyDid the Crotas end raid today and got two radiant energies at the end. That's it. I had to watch my teammates try on their new raid gear. Equip new ships. Test their new weapons. I sat in a corner looking at my pathetic energies.... Sobbing.

I did a weekly night fall strike by my self got to the final boss two friends join as I kill him both of them receive exotics (1 gets hawkmoon the other monticarlo and a lord high fixer) I get ascendant shards tha--blam!- I stopped playing the game for a wile after that

A couple recent ones. 1) Was in a group for CE, got to Crota, group fell apart. Took 2 more groups and a couple hours to finally get him down, and I get 2 radiant shards...that shouldn't even be a thing. 2) Doing a nexus nightfall (the one right before the dlc when they increased the level to 30) and had to get some help on my 29 hunter. Get one 29 who was just awful, died every two seconds, kept trying to bladedancer light switch majors, didn't equip any solar weapons, etc. Get another guy to help. We get to the boss and this dude just jumps out onto the girder above the boss and gets smoked by the minotaurs. So we 2 man the the boss and the loot screen comes up and this scrub who had 9 kills in strike gets hawkmoon...which I've been trying to get since the game came out and still don't have...wish I could have leapt through my screen and choked him.

Last week nightfall i got sos vengeance wich is the auto rifle that you can get at the tower and to top that off one got hawkmoon and the other one suros -__-

This buddy I helped run nightfall with only ended up getting a legendary engram and that's it...so he dismantles it and it turns into....[spoiler]2 MOTHER -blam!-ING ENERGIES[/spoiler]

I still never got Vog hunter gauntlets, had to use ahamkara spine exotics to get to 32, just recently I got the fatebringer and pretorian foil so I'm kind of happy with that

I never got gloves or a chest piece for my warlock in vog either one would have made me 30 once I hit 31 I do vog hard mode and get a chest and gloves I almost flipped my table with my xbox on it

I did the most work in a crota's end raid team. For example in the weight of darkness area I got 400+ kills everyone else got 160 or less. I got rewarded with nothing but shards . Which at that point was fine. Then the bridge we did and was rewarded with shards again. Death slinger we spent quite awhile on and we failed a lot due to my team not doing enough damage to the death slinger fast enough (I usually shot 4 rockets). Finally we ended up at crota and I got only shards! No actual gear throughout the entire raid for being good. I was so done I just quit destiny immediately.

Shitty teammate in crucible gets Gjallarhorn while I get the best score in my team and get jackshit. I only cried for 3 days.

Playing crucible and u got 30 some odd kills, (I get nothing) and some guy with 5 kills got ghallerhorn

My worst ended up being my best. After finally deciding to be swordbearer and do crota legit and killing him all I got was 2 shards and I was ready to throw my controller through my TV at this point but when we got to orbit suros regime popped up for me, which is the only exotic I've ever wanted while playing this game :D

Two nightfalls in consecutive weeks and all I got was a single legendary engram each time. Fark

Ok so on roc strike I started out solo and got pretty far. Then a few other people joined me and killed phogoth. I had 167 kills and a lvl 24 guy got 10 kills. And who could have guessed it the 10 killer got READY FOR ANYTHING! Guess what I got? A uncommon engram. Come on.

1 ReplySoloed the entire nightfall 3 times and on 3 occasions 2 different people joined at the end without my consent and the only gun I wanted from this game, hawkmoon was obtained by both of the other people all 3 times and I got shards which I already had 105 of.... And still I yearn for elusive hawkmoon

Soloed an entire strike, rocketsmcdickface, and a lvl 27 joined at the last second, he got mida multitool and I got blues. Same things happened with the archon priest strike. I soloed the entire things and the guy joins seconds before I kill the priest and he gets mida and I get blues.

10 Ascendant Energy from this weeks Nightfall. My friend got his third Icebreaker in that same run. Seems like this game wants me to miss out on possessing signature super weapons like jellyhorn and Icebreaker. Yaaaayyyyy...
