E.T. for the Atari 2600.
I was 3 years old at the time and my big brother had taken me next door to hang with his friend Will and his younger siblings. We went up to Will's room and they were there trying to figure out wtf to do. It was the first video game I had ever seen, and since it was based on the movie I was obsessed with at the time I was hooked immediately.
E.T. has a reputation as one of the worst video games ever made, and it was a main factor in the collapse of the video game industry in the early 80s, but I'll always smile when someone brings it up.
