So I am pretty new to the group and a father of 2 who rarely has time to do anything. I work in corrections, go to school full time and have my wife and children who I try to spend as much time with as possible. When I found this group I was really excited because I don't have many friends who want to play Destiny let alone with me and my crazy schedule. But tonight as I was putting my 9mo old down for the night I was trying to play Destiny on my vita on a scrappy connection to get some rep and maybe a mission or two. That is when I tried to join a member here on a strike and did. I warned him that I was on my vita and my connection was crap and my daughter was teething so I might have to jump off to do the trademarked walk while shushing and constant back pats. The memeber helped me insanely and was really polite about it. I completed my first heroic strike and it was all thanks to the DoD and his understanding of my situation. Thanks again thegreataus!

I completely understand. I'm a father of 4, ages 13, 12, 4 and 1. Wife works full time and I take care of the zoo at home, run the errands pay the bills and once a month serve my country as a navy reservist and I still find time to balance between spending some of my precious free time with my wife and playing destiny for an hour or two a few times a week. That's why I love DoD. I have yet to meet another member that does not understand what we go through to raise our families and all of my experiences with fellow DoD guardians are very similar to yours. Just like my second family in the Navy, DoD is my third family now. We've got each other's backs.
