  • That was a funny read. It's all true for most people. I really liked: "This is what most of us don't get in everyday life--quick, tangible rewards. It's less about instant gratification and more about a freaking sense of accomplishment. How much harder would we work at the office if we got this, and could measure our progress toward it? And if the light shot from our crotch?" If only jobs didn't aim for the punishment method. You don't do your job when we schedule you for how long we want you to be here, no paycheck for you. No paycheck for you, you can't pay bills. You can't pay bills, you lose everything. Which is why I prefer my Network Marketing :). No punishments, only rewards. I aim for the mastering of a game aspect mostly. The farming and gear and other junk are merely progression necessities which fill the time when cooling down from improving skill. Also, a game isn't beat until everything is complete! Must remove all "!" from the map!!! Because let's face it... Life sucks, why deal with self centered wastes of space when I can destroy evil across the galaxy?
