This could actually be an instance where your brain is taking noises that sound close to language and then reconfiguring them into words you understand based on the context of those noises.
It happens all the time when you mishear people, your brain fills in the gaps of what you didn't hear and you think they said something else.

[/quote] We look for patterns of understanding all the time, it's how our brain works. As I understand it, it's the same reason we see shapes in the clouds or The Jesus on a slice of rye. If The Darkness took time out of their purported quest to destroy humanity to learn English and then speak it brokenly to us as we shoot at them, that would be something else! :D
