You can hear whispers in the hive seeder in skywatch, as well as the tower near the speaker (not the speaker speaking though.) I've also heard whispers on various parts of the moon, and Venus.. Oddly enough I've yet to hear whispers on Mars, which is where I spend most of my patrol time trying to get the right mats.. They do say various things such as escape, the darkness is coming, and I even believe I've heard someone whisper to turn around.. (In which when I did I saw something dart to the side, however proceeded through the darkness without being attacked.) Your not crazy, this game has a grim fit to it from time I time..
