Weird Whispers Heard in the Game
I am surprised no one else has heard them, but there has been at least two times when I have heard someone whisper a word to me in the game. I don't remember where (maybe Venus?) or what the first one said but I do remember the second one. At the tower, I stopped talking to the Shipwright and was leaping over the twisted cords to the left and heard someone whisper "escape."
Now the first one I heard I was playing with a friend online and he did not hear it. However, the second one my brother was watching me play and heard "escape" too. So maybe only I could hear it on my screen?
I don't know if this has anything to do with it but I am a level 26 Hunter and have both the expansion and have completed the main storyline.
Has anyone else heard this?

3 RepliesDo you have a raid weapon or Murmur in your equipped at the time? I was doing some Patrol on the moon, sniping fallen ontop of the moon base and heard in a little girl's voice "I died...here." I dropped down into the base to check it out, to see if i was hearing things, nothing. I killed 2 dreg inside the base and around one of the computer stations i hear a loud whisper "HERE!" gave me the creeps.

If you heard it near the shipwright, then it probably was the dead orbit guy, as the entire factions thing is getting away(escaping) from earth I think

I hear a lot of that....I have digital surround with a fiber optic cable so the sounds are all seperated in the different speakers. There are whispers. Shhhhh

When the game first came out, me and my friend were walking back to where the beginning of the game takes and and seeing that we couldn't go any further I sat down and we heard like laughter echo through the wall, we bolted the hell out of there lol.

When I first got my px4 headset I was seeing if it helped in crucible and I heard weird noises and whispers during the jump ship loading screen.

I've heard random things as well. Never gave much thought to them. Maybe someone's theory that we're all part of a vex simulation is right and what we're hearing is reality slipping through.
