Since both the Vanguard and the Crucible sell you Chest armors that make you look homeless or that you simply don't like, why not buy the armor piece from another faction. Future War Cult, Dead Orbit, and New Monarchy all sell Chest pieces that don't look half as bad and gift the same amount of light of 33 when leveled completely. Although while walking through the Tower with my Warlock in third person... I feel like someone is staring at my ass...
