Is this the game that you expected?
I wonder if Bungie will respond to straightforward polling, so I will be posting a number of simple polls. Add your comments about how you think things should be fixed and why, or why not.
To many, Destiny seemed to have been advertised as a much different game. Is this your experience? Did you get what you were promised? Let Bungie know!
Edit: Some people really like these polls and would like to see them trending. Perhaps Bungie will see them then and respond to them in some way? Maybe wishful thinking.. Anyways, I have added links to the other polls so that you can vote on all of them!

Own fault, stayed off the hype train as long as I could but eventually broke down. Once I saw all the trailers, got super excited. After a couple days of playing I kept asking "where's the story?" "why is the world so small?" "why do I feel so alone in what is supposed to be an MMO?"

4 RepliesI really expected something epic like a cross between WOW/Skyrim/Halo. I thought it was going to be an MMORPG, sort of like WOW, yet an awesome shooter like Halo. That's not really what we got though...

simply? No.. they advertised an developed a Mass effect /skyrim /halo in space and on several worlds.... and delivered a simple coop fps.. .. with near to zero narration and indeed zero "exploration" (if you dont count glitches and exploitfinding ) zero customization, there is no trading (as mentioned in the INGAME vidocs (which just for the reference should show the player the actual game.. so please no "concept art" BS talk here.)) no gambling (also mentioned) there is no free roam (you can go there its all playable terrain , jaja) there is no constant evolution , its more like a cough... unexpected, unexplained, undocumented and highly controversal.. yeah sure the mechanics are fine.. but thats it .. the player dont have to deal with the environment, you have a jetack, no climbing or hiding, or cover usage needed.. just plain walk, run , shoot, fly animations were required, apart from the "farming materials" and the highly unnecessary explosive containers there is not a single part in the world that you can interact with .. you cant even shoot the glass on a door.. , the npc are all soulless puppets...no background, no insight, no interaction here also.. the game is a wallpaper.. pretty but non usable.. its like asian plastic food samples.. nice to look at but doesnt taste and doesnt feed you..

1 ReplyI don't pay attention to advertising and hype and all the bs, I was aware of the game but didn't start following it closely until the beta, after playing the beta this is exactly what I expected, anyone else who played the beta I don't understand how they couldn't feel the same way
