We had the Phogoth strike as the weekly and nightfall 2 weeks before the Dark Below dropped.
Why are we getting it again so soon and what about rotating the others in?
I bet it's to do with the dlc and Eris's bounties.
-
Dude, don't complain about a free gift. It's the easiest/fastest strike in the rotation. Take it with a smile!
-
I wanted it to be the new Mars strike as I find it fun, but alas they new the forums would explode so they didn't.
-
Be happy that Undying Mind is an exclusive, i personally do not want to see that as a nightfall.
-
It's probably one of the fastest strikes there is. Once the door is open run down and kill Phogoth.

Edited by Amanda Hollidays Light Tan: 12/16/2014 9:49:22 PMFor some reason I was looking forward to the Mars strike :/
-
Remember how the Dailys went in an order? Now they're spread out. I think the same has happened to Weeklys. Its random now.
-
Too soon anon, too soon!
-
at least it's not void burn like it was last time. Icebreaker and Arc Swarm FTW (no i don't own Fatebringer)
-
Who cares iT takes 7 minutes to complete nightfall
-
Seriously? People bitching cuz they couldn't do nightfall last week now they bitching cuz it's the pit? Stfu and play
-
I don't mind it at all. Summoning Pits is one of my faves. ;) Did ya get totally wrecked or something?
-
...one idea here - before the DLC i was really a weapon-scrub, didn't have solid arsenal so Elemental modifiers were the Hardest Nightfall part for me. what i ended up doing was i would have kept at least on Rare [blue] weapon of each elemental-type in my Special/Heavy slots (maxed out, it really doesnt cost too much) so that i have that extra edge in NFs now, i might b completely mistaken here, in which case i'd like to ask the more informed ones to correct me, but from what i read on several game forums, the Elemental Burn modifier in Destiny is 300%. so if that really is so, and Blue weapon with relevant Elemental damage will easily outclass ANY Exotic that doesn't have it (again, only in Nightfall) ...if you want, test it and let us know the results
-
They restarted the cycle when the dlc came out. There will probably a new order now
-
Think about it guys... There is still an order but the DLC broke it. Now we will cycle through them all again with the Omnigul strike being after Archon Priest. It's honestly pretty simple :)
-
I have been telling people that its not rng based and that these strikes go in order. The summoning pits again have smashed my theory

Edited by MangoSaucee: 12/16/2014 11:59:12 AMAs long as it's not Valus Ta'aruc, I'm good. But I hate Arc burn. I have no good weapons for it (besides Praedyth's Timepeice, but that's not maxed out.) Edit: Plus Wizards and Knights all do Arc damage.
-
This is perfect. Light of the abyss, song of ir yut, it is time. No knight shall stand in my way
-
What about RANDOM do you not understand?
-
I'm calling it right now. I'm getting another Ballerhorn and my 3rd Ice Breaker from the Nightfall this week. No more legendaries or coins!! ***runs in the corner and hopes the RNG goddess does not see this post
-
how would the arc option of the murmur do with this strike? i havent maxed it out yet but i don't have many other arc weapons.
-
Should they have just kept it as the same one as last week? There's a hive theme for some reason, maybe they're pushing the dlc side of the game for a bit
-
So you're saying I can use my new black hammer to walk through these hive majors? Awesome
-
Its random and theres only a one in six (eight for ps users?) Chance for any strike
-
My guess is the rotation changed. I think the dlc strike is going to take the old earth strike spot as first, and the earth strike will be somewhere at the end. I could be wrong though.
-
Dude phogoth is a piece of cake with the burn on whatever it is, last time he was Void Burn and my maxed 77 Wizard (Void) was dropping 850s for each hit, I was taking his Health down by like 1/8th every time I hit him.

Edited by Birbman: 12/16/2014 4:05:50 PMWhat's the burn? Never mind I just scrolled down and saw it lol
