Whilst I do agree with most of the article I get the feeling a lot of players struggle with the MMO aspect. Activision would have advised Bungie to water down those aspects and play up the action game angle as most of us (me included) have never played a true MMO. Was I expecting the expansion to have higher level gear? Yes I was and I expected to have to grind again. It does amaze me how so many forum posts moan about the grind after playing for so long. Again it's classic MMO/RPG type gameplay. Exactly as French says lucky it's so addictive otherwise we would have all stopped long ago. Imagine if this game had lived up to the hype completely think I would be divorced and homeless now ;) Rant over...
