Bungie the D-Pad is so worthless in this game besides the 4 social functions and toggling voice channels. I can see the need to dance after a boss or to use pointing when people don't have a Mic but generally people have a Mic for raids and stuff. I suggest we add an option to switch between social and battle mode like voice channel. In battle mode you could use up and down to scroll through weapon types and left and right choose them on the fly from your inventory. You could scroll between jump type and grenade as well or customize it. Its a very useful thing in Crucible, Raids, and strikes. This would make everyone happy!!! Wouldn't you like to do that? Everyone will be happy about this feature and everyone can use it, no Mic needed. More fluid gameplay and less pausing because "hey guys hold on I need to switch my weapons/grenades" Yes it would take some time to make this happen but as long as you announce it will happen then people will be happy and can be patient. Its not a ridiculous feature, look at many games out there using DPad in creative ways. Please implement this idea in some form or another. It will save people So much time from the options screen!
